UFO Reduction Retreat

Join in the fun and finish some of those UFOs while enjoying time with friends and laughter for two full days. The retreat is scheduled for Sept. 26-27, 2025. Registration covers Friday lunch, Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. Retreat will end Saturday at 6:00 pm. The retreat will be held at Living Shepherd Lutheran Church (4835 Fort Sanders Rd.) in Laramie. Space is limited.

Stormy Sea 2026 Block of the Month Club

The 2026 Block of the Month club will be Stormy Sea by Wing and a Prayer Design. Stormy Sea is a BOM quilt that features 13 specially chosen fabrics that range from a warm cream to the deepest navy reminding us of the colors of a stormy sea. For those looking for a more masculine quilt, these neutral colors have a wide appeal. This King size quilt measures 108” square and is pieced together with traditional piecing techniques. QE will offer the Stormy Sea BOM to anyone who wants to participate, but the kits are limited. The registration is open now. You can pay for the full kit, priced at $290, up front or make four payments of $72.50 in October, November and two in December. THE MONTHLY PAYMENT OPTION WILL GO AWAY AT THE END OF OCTOBER. Regardless of the payment option, you will receive the entire kit in January when we start. We will meet in January in person and then once a month in person and via zoom from February-June. Registrants will have access to a group Facebook page for monthly tips.

Saturday Stitchers

Saturday Stitchers meets the 4th Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the LFD Station 2 – 1558 N 23rd. This location has been secured through September 2025.

The following will be provided: a cutting table set-up for you to use your mat and cutter, an ironing board with an iron, and a table with folding chair. You will need to bring your cutting mat and cutter, sewing machine, extension cord and power strips, trash container, and your project(s). You can bring small irons to use with your ironing surface. I would encourage those who use a portable chair to bring them. Suggestion: You might want to bring your lunch and something to drink. Please share this information! RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! You can RSVP on the Quilt Essentials Saturday Stitchers Facebook group or by emailing Becky Riley by noon the Friday before.

Registration Policy

Student Expectations
Students are expected to show up on time for class and be prepared to learn. Please be respectful of others and their desire to learn. Class supplies should be purchased prior to class.

Class & Club Fees/Registration
Register early, as class/club space is limited. Payment must be received prior to class/club to guarantee a spot. Please remember that if payment is not made, you are NOT registered.

Cancellation Policy
We have a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel 7 days in advance, your class/club fee can be transferred to another class/club or be used as store credit. If you cancel in less than 7 days, you forfeit your fee.
