I hope the March newsletter finds you all well. The wind has been horrible here. I find myself wishing for summer to arrive quickly. We are preparing for the Springtime in the Rockies Shop Hop in Loveland, CO at the Ranch on April 8th & 9th. The theme for this year is all about aprons! Big ones, little ones, funny ones, short ones, tall ones. Design your own or use a commercial pattern. To participate, fill out an entry form from the shop and submit it to a participating quilt store by March 25. Aprons are due to the store by April 2. Aprons will hang during the Shop Hop at the Ranch. Gift Basket Prizes awarded: $75 1st; $50 2nd; $25 3rd. Aprons and prizes can be collected from your participating shop after the show.
Join us for Second Saturday Sampler on March 12th. We are nearing the end of this year’s quilt. We’ll take a break during June and July. If you have missed any of the classes you can always catch up by checking out the website. Instructions are posted there after each month.
The book club is looking for new members. This month book is The Ramblers by Aidan Donnelly Rowley. The group meets the third Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. Are you interested in joining but can’t make it at that time? Let us know what time would work better by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you participating in Row by Row this year? We loved visiting with people from all over the U.S. and Canada last summer. We had so many people through Laramie that we are considering being open for a short time on Sunday’s this summer. Tell us what you think.
